Baseball
Baseball was introduced to Japan in 1873. Today, baseball is still widely publicised and very popular. If you are visiting Japan between April and October and interested in catching a game, two exciting places to do so are the historic Koshien Stadium, which is located just outside Osaka, and was built in 1924 as Japan’s first stadium, and Tokyo dome, affectionately known as the “Big Egg” and home to Japan’s most popular team, the Yomiuri Giants.
